The criminal investigations bureau is lead by Deputy Police Chief Colin Morgan.
There are five full time Investigators, one of which is assigned to the City/County Investigative Bureau, one full time administrative secretary, and a Supervisor, Lt. David Prince.
The Criminal Investigations Bureau is assigned a myriad of tasks including case investigation for all crimes occurring within the City of Lake Mary representing the agency on various task forces such as MAGTAF, the Multi-Agency Gang Task Force whose goal is to suppress and eliminate Gang activity in Seminole County.
