On behalf of myself and the members of the City of Lake Mary Fire Department, I would like to welcome you to our official web site. This site contains valuable information about our Department including public safety, educational and fire prevention initiatives as well as topics on emergency management. I hope you will take the time to explore our site and learn about the services we are proud to offer to the community. These include fire prevention, code enforcement, public education, fire suppression and advanced emergency medical response. The Department’s current Insurance Services Organization Rating is a class 4.
The Lake Mary Fire Department has the strength of 45 employees which serves a full time residential population of 13,937 which due to business traffic and visitors can grow to over 35,000. We are located approximately 18 miles north of Orlando, Florida just off Interstate 4 and have jurisdiction over an area in excess of nine square miles. The Department also participates in the Seminole County Mutual Aid First Response System. This system allows for a seamless and consistent level of service between the various cities and unincorporated areas within the County; all working under the same guidelines and protocols.
The City of Lake Mary is a wonderful community in which to live and work. Our Department maintains a strong partnership with the community we serve as is illustrated in our Values and Mission Statements.
