CITY OF LAKE MARY FIRST STEP PROCESS
WHAT IS THE FIRST STEP PROCESS?
The First Step Process is the City of Lake Mary’s permit and development assistance program. The process provides a convenient, one-stop opportunity for business owners, developers, and other interested persons to receive project and permitting information from several city departments at one time. There is no fee for a First Step appointment. By meeting with the First Step staff, you can find out about the regulations that apply to your project, issues of concern you should address, and whether your project is consistent with the City’s comprehensive plan.

Paperless Utility Billing
What is Paperless Billing?
Paperless billing or “Go Green” is a service that allows you to receive your billing information online rather than in a printed, paper format. You will not receive a paper bill in the mail but will instead receive an e-mail notification each month letting you know your bill and related information is ready for your review.
Why sign up?
- You will have the ability to view and print your last four months of electronic bill statements.
- There are no changes to the choices you have in paying your bill. Those options include Auto Pay (also known as Bank Draft), Mail, in Person, Night Drop, Pay by Phone or Online.
- Using Paperless Billing is environmentally friendly.
- You can still easily view information on community events with access to the monthly calendar and any additional information provided to other utility customers.
- It's FREE and if you don't like it you can change back at anytime.
