The City of Lake Mary Police Department has a full time Investigator assigned to the City County Investigative Bureau which includes members from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and the other local law enforcement agencies within Seminole County. This bureau works in full cooperation with the federal law enforcement branches the D.E.A., A.T.F, and the Beverage Commission.

This Bureau investigates crimes regarding narcotic drugs - including usage and sales at the street level, as well as enterprise cases that include sales, distribution and transportation. In addition to those crimes CCIB investigates prescription fraud, prostitution and nudity ordinances.
