The City of Lake Mary Police Department has a full time Investigator assigned to the City County Investigative Bureau. The City sponsors an Officer to the Bureau for a 4 year tour. CCIB includes members from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and the local law enforcement agencies. This bureau works in full cooperation with the federal law enforcement branches including but not limited to the D.E.A., A.T.F, and the Beverage Commission.

This Bureau investigates crimes regarding narcotic drugs - including usage and sales at the street level, as well as continuing enterprise cases that include sales, distribution and transportation. In addition to those crimes CCIB investigates prescription fraud, prostitution, solicitation of prostitution, and nudity ordinances.
