Security System Registrations All security system alarms, whether monitored by an independent contracting alarm service, or whether they automatically dial the non-emergency telephone number for the police department must be registered with the Police Department.

This registration is a simple form to complete that includes the names and telephone numbers of three (3) persons to be contacted in the event of an alarm activation or other emergency at the address of the alarm. There are separate registration forms for residential alarm systems and business alarm systems. To view and print the form please see attached link to the registration forms. If you download and print the form you can return it in person to the Police Department at 165 E. Crystal Lake Avenue, or you can fax it to 407-585-1398.

The city ordinance also has provisions wherein the owner or person responsible for the alarm system where repeated false alarms are reported to the Police Department may be fined for the alarms. For a copy of the city ordinance please see attached link to the alarm ordinance.
