This is a very exciting time for the youth and young adults of Lake Mary. The much anticipated Lake Mary Bike/Skate Park is open. This outdoor sports park will be the first of its kind in Seminole County.
The facility was designed and built by Team Pain Inc. Tim Payne the owner and operator of this nationally recognized company was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for Skate Park designs by Skate Park Magazine.
The Lake Mary Park accommodates skate boarders, BMX bicycles, and in-line skaters. Amenities feature a 7 ½ foot deep bowl and over 8000 square feet of concrete area.
Other additions include a 36-foot pavilion, picnic tables, site lighting, and landscaping. A grand opening celebration was held on October 4, 2002.
