Potable Water

Drinking Water: The City obtains its drinking water from the Floridan Aquifer. Potable water facilities include six groundwater wells, three aeration towers, two ground storage tanks, one elevated storage tank, and seven high service pumps. The water is treated and disinfected prior to being pumped into the distribution system. We constantly test the water to ensure its quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. A Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is mailed to all customers once per year detailing many of the analyses performed.
