Potable Water

The City of Lake Mary's water supply comes from five groundwater wells that draw water from the Floridan Aquifer. The well water is treated at the City’s water facility with an Ultraviolet Light Advanced Oxidation Process (UVAOP) with hydrogen peroxide, followed by granulated activated carbon, fluoridation, and chlorination before it is pumped into the water distribution system. We constantly test the water to ensure its quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. A Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is prepared once per year detailing the results of analyses performed.
