Water Impact Fee
(a) An Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) is established and determined to be equal to a flow of 350 gallons per day, an average annual basis. In no event shall the total ERU value used to calculate a water system impact fee charge for any separate establishment be less than 1 ERU.
For purposes of calculating and imposing the water system impact fee for any particular connection shall be calculated as set forth in § 55.16, Lake Mary Code of Ordinances.
Sewer Impact Fee
(b) An Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) is established and determined to be equal to a flow of 300 gallons per day, average annual basis. In no event shall the total ERU value used to calculate a sewer system impact fee charge for any separate establishment be less than 1 ERU.
For purposes of calculating and imposing the sewer system impact fee for any particular connection shall be calculated as set forth in § 50.145, Lake Mary Code of Ordinances.
The City sewer impact fee charge is based on $1.45 × gallon per day usage ($1.45 City) + Seminole County Sewer Impact Fee.
County Sewer Impact Fee
The County Sewer Impact Fee is established as listed:
- Single Family Residential, per dwelling unit $3,175
- Multi-Family Residential, calculated by square footage ($1.50 per square foot wastewater)
- Minimum per dwelling unit is $2,223 and the Maximum is $3,175
- Non-Residential (Business/ Retail), is calculated by ERC factors based on the size of the meter providing service × $3,175. (See Table).
